Admission Timeline & Application Steps
Step 1: Inquiry & Showcase Events (After Sept 1)
Submit an online inquiry to access the admissions portal and RSVP for Admissions Showcases or walking tours. Showcases take place from October through November 2025. Walking tours run monthly through January.
Step 2: Application Form & Fee (Deadline Jan 7, 2026)
Complete the Carrollton Admissions Portal application (fee $125), including personal details, transcripts, and recommendation requests. Apply early to secure an interview slot
Step 3: Standardized Testing (ISEE or SSAT)
Grades 4–5 must take the ISEE. Grades 6–12 may take either the ISEE or SSAT. On-campus testing dates: Oct 25, 2025 and Jan 17, 2026. School code: 101047
Step 4: Interviews & Writing Sample
After submitting, Carrollton schedules a family interview (parents and applicant)—mandatory by January 7 to guarantee placement. Grades 4–5 participate in informal group interviews during on-campus ISEE testing days
Step 5: Completion & Holistic Evaluation
Application is considered complete once Carrollton receives:
Application form and fee
Academic records from last four years
Three recommendations (English teacher, math teacher, principal)
Test scores and student writing sample
Step 6: Admission Decision (By March 2, 2026)
All decisions are posted in the Carrollton Admissions Portal by early March. Late applications (after Jan 7) are considered only if space is available.
