Admission Timeline & Step-by-Step Guide


Step 1: Tour & Inquiry (Opens October 1)

Start by scheduling a campus tour or attending an open house via the Admissions Office (561‑686‑4244 x335).


Step 2: Submit Application (Fee $135)

Applications open October 1 and remain rolling until January 15. All students must apply online and pay the non-refundable $135 fee via the portal 


Step 3: Submit Required Documents

Provide birth certificate, Florida immunization form DH 680, health exam DH 3040, and any special education plans (IEP/504) as applicable


Step 4: Entrance Exam – SSAT (Grades 6–12)

After applying, TKA sends an invitation to take the SSAT. Testing dates are on Saturdays (e.g., Jan 11, Feb 8, Mar 8). Incoming 9th graders are encouraged to take the earliest test date.


Step 5: Admission Decision (~3 Weeks After Testing)

Within three weeks of the entrance exam, applicants receive decision letters via email. The committee reviews the full file—including academic records, SSAT, and school evaluation materials.


Step 6: Financial Aid & Enrollment

Need-based assistance is available via FES-EO or FES-UA scholarships. Accepted students finalize enrollment and attend a required family orientation meeting before starting school.
