Why Westminster Christian School Stands Out in Palm Beach County
Westminster Christian School is a Christian, college-preparatory PK–12 day school on a scenic 31-acre campus in Palmetto Bay, serving approximately 1,070 students with a small-class, personalized learning environment (student-teacher ratio ~9:1). Known for its strong academics, spiritual foundation, athletics, and award-winning fine arts programs.
Westminster is the only school in the U.S. recognized as a Microsoft Showcase School for eight consecutive years, integrating cutting-edge tech tools like Office 365, Teams, OneNote and providing 1:1 devices for students.
Admission Timeline & Step-by-Step Process
Step 1: Submit Inquiry & Complete Application (Opens Sept 1, 2025)
Begin by submitting the online inquiry; the admissions portal opens on September 1 for the 2026–27 cycle. A $150 non-refundable application fee unlocks access to the digital checklist.
Step 2: Upload Required Documents
Use the digital checklist to submit:
School recommendation forms and a church reference form
Last two years of report cards and standardized test results
Birth certificate and candidate photo
Authorization for current school records and release forms as prompted
Step 3: Admission Testing
Grades 2–5: Take the MAP Growth test on campus (included with the application fee)
Grades 6–12: Take the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam); testing is offered on campus or at authorized centers—fee is separate. Enter School Code 571054.
Step 4: Family Interview
After the file is complete, the Admission Committee may invite select families for a family interview. Not all applicants will be granted interviews.
Step 5: Decision Notification
Early-Notification applicants receive decisions around December 1.
Other applicants are notified on a rolling basis once Early Decision decisions are released.
What Westminster Evaluates Holistically
Admissions considers:
Academic transcripts and standardized test performance
MAP Growth (grades 2–5) or ISEE (grades 6–12) score
Completed school, church, and digital reference forms
Family interview impressions (when granted)
Alignment with Westminster’s eight core values, including faith, excellence, service, character, and innovation.
Applicants are expected to come from families with at least one parent active in a local Christian church, as confirmed via a church reference form
