How UF admissions work, and the timeline on other Florida Schools

The admission dates for the University of Florida are yet to be affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. The freshman enrollment confirmation date is May 1, 2020. On site tours of UF have been cancelled until further notice although they do have a virtual information session that you can register for in which an admissions officer will gladly answer any questions you might have about the campus and university. Click link (1) for more information on visiting and experiencing UF. To apply to the University of Florida you can use the coalition app or common app, a system many schools use which allows for applications for multiple schools. For freshman dates and deadlines click the second link provided below (2).

The UF administration is currently in the process of returning their employees to the workplace and is scheduled to have an on-campus fall semester. In hopes to further provide assistance and security to students UF has created 11 task forces to help students in any way possible from staying safe while being on campus, to allowing for education to still thrive as their main pursuit and allow for research to continue. For an in depth look into these task forces as well as up to date information as to UF’s next steps click link (3). For a list of UF’s frequently asked questions in regard to admission, travel, health, students, prospective students, and their families, health, wellness and prevention click link (4).
